Protean self at the Cambridge Public Library, Cambridge Science Festival
The Protean Self

The Protean Self is hosted by the Cambridge Public Library as part of the MIT Museum Cambridge Science Festival on Monday, October 3, 2022.

Taking inspiration from Proteus and the meandering Charles River, I question how we quickly adapt to changing conditions in our environments to ensure that we flourish healthily as human beings. The interwoven 30-minute STEAM presentation, The Protean Self, includes two new videos, Liminal Meanderings and Watershed, made up of hand-drawn and painted images, digital images, videos taken with an iPhone, recorded sounds, and a collaborative dance.
